Founder & President
I grew up in Arlington Texas playing hockey and hanging with my friends mostly. I went to the University of North Texas where I completed my bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering. My first job out of college was drafting blueprints under Connor’s Contracting for residential builders. I eventually partnered up with a builder, Armstrong Master Builders, where I managed the design and construction of single family homes. In June of 2019, I joined TLC Engineering Solutions, a Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing Consulting Firm, where I designed MEP systems for commercial construction. Late in 2022, I decided to leave my role at TLC to pursue a dream of building a business of my own. I started Home Energy Services in January of 2023 to fulfill that passion.
A Home Energy Audit will identify causes for your HVAC system to be running in excess. There may be outdoor infiltrating through small holes in the walls and attics; or excess humidity from an unseen leak; undersized ductwork or ductwork that is damaged reducing the airflow to specific rooms. All of these common issues will be identified through the audit and a scope of remediation work can be written up. Some of these solutions can counteract others, so having our expertise in building science gives us the chance to anticipate these before the renovation and reduce further complications.
